About Our Ministry

The Usher’s Ministry of St John Baptist Church is a group of dedicated and committed servant leaders who offer quality service to all parishioners with a willing heart and a winning smile. Part of our duties include being available before, during and after worship service, assisting worshippers with finding seating in the sanctuary, opening the doors of the sanctuary and allowing people in at appropriate times, collecting tithes and offerings in an orderly fashion, as well as assisting the pastoral staff and members.

To serve as doorkeepers in the House of God.

Our Mission as the Ushers at St John Baptist Church is to welcome, serve, assist, love, and show hospitality to all who enter the church doors.

Our Vision

The Usher Ministry’s Vision is to collectively work as a team, creating a warm and welcoming environment for members and visitors of St John by providing assistance through service and commitment.

Our Aim

Our aim is to ensure that people see and experience the love of Christ by creating an atmosphere of welcome and order in the church for guests and members.
